1. What ClaudiaFind does
ClaudiaFind is a Chrome browser extension that upgrades find-on-page with fast text search, optional regex and wildcard search for Lifetime customers, highlighted matches, keyboard navigation, all-tabs search, and CSV export.
All on-page searching happens locally in the browser.
2. Data stored locally on your device
ClaudiaFind stores a small amount of extension data in chrome.storage.local. This data stays on your device unless you remove the extension or clear its storage.
- User preferences such as default flags, maximum highlight count, theme, last search pattern, and last flags.
- An instance ID generated on first use to identify a browser installation for Lifetime license activation.
- A signed license token for Lifetime customers. The token is verified locally and does not contain raw page content.
3. Data sent to our servers
ClaudiaFind communicates with api.vwapster.cloud only for Lifetime licensing.
- License activation: when a Lifetime customer enters a license key, the key and instance ID are sent to the license server so the key can be validated and a signed token can be issued.
- Periodic revalidation: Lifetime license tokens are revalidated periodically to keep license status current.
We do not collect page content, browsing history, or search queries.
4. Data we do not collect from normal search use
- The text content of pages you search.
- The queries, text strings, or regex patterns you type into ClaudiaFind.
- Your browsing history.
- Any analytics tied to the content of the pages you scan.
5. Lifetime purchases and payment processing
If you buy Lifetime access, payment is handled by LemonSqueezy. We use the data needed to fulfill and manage the license, such as the license key and associated order details.
LemonSqueezy's privacy terms apply to checkout and payment processing.
6. Permissions explained
- Site access: required so ClaudiaFind can read page text locally and show the search bar on the pages you visit.
- Storage: saves your preferences and Lifetime token locally.
- Scripting: injects the search interface into supported tabs when you trigger it.
- Alarms: schedules periodic Lifetime license revalidation.
- Tabs: requested only when a Lifetime customer uses the all-tabs search feature.
7. Data retention
Local extension data stays on your device until you remove ClaudiaFind or clear extension storage. License records kept on the server are retained as needed to manage active and revoked licenses.
8. Children's privacy
ClaudiaFind is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
If ClaudiaFind changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated and the last updated date will change.
